We collaborated with the Intelligent Vehicle Group and the Autonomous Multi-robot Lab of the Cognitive Robotics department of Delft University of Technology to develop the motion planning algorithm running on the experimental self-driving car developed with the Intelligent Vehicle Group.
The vehicle has been modified by adding a custom drive-by-wire system for lateral and longitudinal control of the vehicle. The vehicle has an on-board computer with two NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs, an AMD EPYC 7313 16-Core Processor, and 256GB RAM. The vehicle is equipped with two LiDARs, both on the vehicle roof. It also has eight cameras and a GNSS/INS unit.
